Update: As a traveling snowbird, I am in the Massachusetts and Connecticut area from the beginning of March until end of October. Samantha is an experienced and responsible pet sitter who brings over eight years of dedication and passion to her work. With professional experience spanning Dallas, TX, the East Coast (from Western New England to North Carolina and Virginia), and internationally, she has built a reputation for reliable, compassionate, and attentive pet care. Her commitment ensures that every pet she cares for is happy, healthy, and comfortable, providing peace of mind for owners while they’re away.

Combining her love for animals with her enthusiasm for travel, Samantha excels in adapting to new environments and seamlessly integrating into her clients’ homes. She offers pet-sitting services for short-term, medium-term, and long-term stays, with a unique flexibility for international assignments thanks to her residency in Mexico. Not yet fluent in conversational Spanish (but working towards it) and equipped with reliable transportation in the USA, she provides tailored, high-quality care wherever she goes.

Samantha is a certified professional in cat and dog first aid through the American Red Cross and completed her Professional Pet Sitting Diploma in August 2024 under the instruction of Emma Warren-Brown BSc, Hons Cert. Ed. Her qualifications and dedication reflect her commitment to ensuring the well-being of every pet she looks after. As she believes in staying current with industry trends and knowledge, she is currently working on her formal pet sitter certification as well.

As someone native to western Massachusetts, I have a strong connection to the area and a deep appreciation for its unique charm. From the Berkshires in Pittsfield to the coastal beauty of Cape Cod, I’ve spent years getting to know the region and its communities. Having grown up here, I understand the local culture and environment, which adds a personal touch to the care I provide.

During the summer months, Massachusetts shines with opportunities to enjoy its natural landscapes. As a pet sitter, I love incorporating these surroundings into my work, whether it’s a dog walk along a peaceful trail or caring for pets while their families take advantage of all the region has to offer. Greater Springfield, located in Western Massachusetts, is a vibrant area rich in history, culture, and attractions. Known as the birthplace of basketball, Springfield is home to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where fans can celebrate the history and legends of the sport. The region also boasts The Big E, New England’s largest fair, offering agricultural exhibits, entertainment, and an array of delicious food that draws visitors from all over. For thrill-seekers, Six Flags New England in nearby Agawam provides a variety of exciting rides and attractions.

It is approximately 90 miles west of Boston, making it about a 1.5 to 2-hour drive. The scenic Berkshires, known for their outdoor activities and cultural offerings, are just about an hour’s drive to the west. For those looking to enjoy the coastal beauty of Cape Cod, it’s roughly a 2.5 to 3-hour drive southeast. If the excitement of New York City is on your agenda, it’s around a 3-hour drive southwest.
