While in the area in July 2024, we stopped at a cute breakfast cafe called Mountainside Cafe. Prices were a bit on the high side for breakfast (French Toast $14, side of sausage and coffee, including tip was $28 total). I think this restaurant currently stands as the most expensive restaurant I have ever been to for breakfast. I am not sure why it was so expensive, it was nice, the staff was friendly and took care of me well.
While in the area, I saw several thru-hikers in the area and some even stopped at this restaurant for breakfast.
